Browser Errors - Clearing The Browser Cache

Occasionally, when we change a file that your browser has cached, it’s will keep serving the old, cached version of the file and not our most recent changes. This is when you may encounter browser errors which cause confusion.

If a parent contacts you with an issue regarding what they can see on a browser, it is recommended to help them clear their cache to reset what they can see to the most up to date version.  To clear the cache follow these instructions:

For Google Chrome:

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click More.

Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.

At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

Click Clear data.

For Microsoft Edge:

Select the Hub icon (three horizontal lines at top bar in front of a star), click the History menu option, and then click Clear history.

Select "Cookies and saved website data" and "Cached data and files". After the two are marked click Clear.

For Safari:

Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.

Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
