Blocking out Parents Evening / Parent Conference time slots in SchoolsBuddy 


The below describes how to block out time slots as an Admin. As standard, Teachers are able to block out their own time slots. If you would like the ability for teachers to block out time slots switched off, email help@schoolsbuddy.com.


1. Click the 'Activities & Clubs' admin tab. (This may be labelled differently due to your School's preferences) 



2. Click the blue 'Manage' tab on the correct parents evening/parent conference container.



3. Click the 'Existing Events' tab. 

4. Click the group in which you wish to block out time slots. 

5. Click the toggle box on the left side of the event to select, when selected the box will turn green.

6. Click the orange 'block out selected' tab. 



7. When the time slots have been blocked out, they will appear faded on the event list. Parents and pupils will not be able to book the time once it is blocked out.
